Our new semester of Vine Classes will begin on Sunday, January 15.
VINE classes are small group Bible studies designed to help you practically apply the truths of God's Word to live as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
You may sign up for a class at the information table in the sanctuary or by calling the church office (336) 835-3808.
The following classes are being offered:
WITNESS TO THE WORLD - This 6 session study is part of the Growing Disciples Series. It helps you begin identifying the people in your concentric circle of concern who need to know Jesus Christ and guides you in taking intention steps to introduce them to Him.
THE MAN GOD USES - God can use men with obedient hearts in extraordinary ways. This 7 session study calls men to respond to God's call and move from the ordinary to the extraordinary.
THE SECRET TO THE MARRIAGE YOU WANT - This 6 session study provides solid, biblical teaching to help spouses ages 30-45 learn to sucessfully apply one simple but transforming principle to their relationship that wil help them get the marriage they have always wanted.
THE PARENT ADVENTURE - Discover practical ways to create a home where children can learn abotu God through day-to-day life in this 7 session study.
MAKING CHILDREN MIND WITHOUT LOSING YOURS - In this 6 session study Dr. Kevin Leman challenges parents to bring out the best in their children by doing what is best for them.
SACRED INFLUENCE - This 7 session study is for women who are tired of all the ways they have tried to bring about change in their marriage. Gary Thomas teaches how to set aside those broken methods for a Christ-based approach that can lead to a marital transformation the way God intended.
REVELATION - What is the sign of His coming and the end of the age? This is an 11 week inductive Bible study. It explores the relationship of the book of Revelation to the gospels. It includes an hour of class discussion of the homework and an hour video of Kay Arthur of Precept Ministries. If you have not taken the Revelation 1 and 2 courses, you can still take this course. There is a review of the material studied in Revelation 2 in the first few lessons. Call Susan Morrison with any questions you have at 835-2829.
DEACONS: PARTNERS IN MINISTRY AND GROWTH - This 6 session study wil equip men to effectively fulfill the role of a deacon. NOTE: You do not have to be an ordained deacon to take part in this class.
THE BLITZ - This is a 7 week class for children in grades 1-6. The class is designed to teach musical skills as well as Scripture memory.
**Child care is available for children ages (6-under) from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the CLC.
