Registration for the fall season of Upward Flag Football and Cheerleading has begun. The league is open to boys and girls who will be in grades 1-6 this fall. The cost for either football or cheerleading is $50 per player if signed up by August 9. The cost is $60 for those who register after August 9. The last day to register is August 19.
Football is open to girls and boys.
Everyone must attend either one flag football evaluation session or one cheerleader orientation. Evaluations will be held from 6-8 pm at the North Elkin field on the following dates:
Monday, August 16
Tuesday, August 17
Thursday, August 19
Practices will begin on August 28. The first game will be Saturday, September 11. The end-of-season awards celebration will be held on Monday, November 1.
