The Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Missions position encompasses the education and spiritual development aspects of our church ministry. In this capacity the Associate Pastor will oversee our regular Bible study groups, provide input and direction for curriculum, and equip our teachers to succeed in their various settings. In terms of mission involvement, the Associate Pastor will build on the foundation of mission giving, going, and praying that exists at Elkin Valley. The church desires to make strides with existing and new partnerships to further gospel advancement across the street and around the world. In terms of pastoral responsibilities, the Associate Pastor will serve the church by preaching in the absence of the Pastor and shepherding the church along with the other staff of the church.
